1st Exhibition in the 18th Nidbach series
Arbeit Nr. 11, by Ari Fisher is a continuation of his final project in the Department of Glass and Ceramics at theBezalelAcademy.
A skeletal building frame is the central installation in the exhibition, along side models of iconic western buildings. Together they create a visual statement of the logical efficiency that is embodied in the spatial traditions of Western society. They depict the important value of functionality that was bestowed upon them at the time of their planning. The question of function, which forms the architectural agenda, is a physical, spatial and visual expression of a perception that sanctifies "work" as a principle value.
