From Bezalel to Clal Center

Jerusalem Artists` House * Marie Gallery * Agripas 12 * Black Box
Meeting point: The courtyard of Jerusalem Artists’ House, 12 Shmuel Hanagid St.
We will start the tour at the Artist’s House, located in the historical Bezalel building, where we will get to know the history of the school established here in 1906, hear about the foundation of the Israel Museum at this very place, and about the current life of the building as the Jerusalem Artist’s House. We will visit the “New Members” exhibitions (curator: Ravit Harari), the Osnat Mozes Painting Prize for a Young Artist exhibition, Natasha Kuznetsova’s solo show (curator: Nava T. Barazani) and May Elimelech’s solo show “The Princess” (curator: Nir Evron). From there, we will continue to the adjacent collective galleries Agripas 12 and Marie for a visit to “Spatial Action,” a group exhibition featuring the galleries’ artists (Nava T. Barazani). We will end the tour with a visit to the outdoor gallery Black Box, at the Davidka Square, just outside the iconic Clal Center.
From the Factory to the College

Meeting point: The main entrance of the Waldorf Astoria Jerusalem Hotel, 28 Gershon Agron St.
We will open the tour with a visit to the Factory by the Independence Park, where we will get to know the historical building and the activities it hosts today. From there, we will continue to Koresh 14 Gallery for a preview of “״Private Collection – Pieces from the Vered Hadad Collection,” which will present the private collection of the gallery’s founder and director, and curator of the exhibition, Vered Had(a)d.. We will then walk a couple of minutes to the Azrieli Gallery at Hadassah Academic College, where we will visit the group exhibition “Thought Farm” (curators: Tali Kayam and Roni Raviv).
From the Leper House to the Painter’s House

Meeting point: Next to the wooden tower at Hansen House’s courtyard, 14 Gedaliah Alon St
We will open the tour at the Hansen House – the former Leper House. We will get to know the building and its unique history and visit the retrospective exhibition of Sharon Balaban – “Resting Bitch” (curators: Sala-Manca). At Hansen House courtyard, we will visit the Tea House brought from the nearby Villa Sherover, and currently serves as a sound art gallery. We will end the tour at a Studio of Her Own, which operates in the former home and atelier of the painter Pinhas Litwinowsky, where we will visit the exhibition “At the Same Time” (curator: Meital Manor) as well as Litwinowsky’s historical collection.
