Tal Bar and Naomi Hadari, two young artists exploring the works debut vague territory lies in limbo.
Painting and sculpture creates Bar Phone images and figures found in the transition between the world of the living and the world of death. Personal mythology, Christian and influence of German artist Joseph Beuys used as a background piece.
Phone watching pulses of life, seizures, suffering illness, dying processes, emptiness and pointlessness of death. Finds interest in images of parts of organs or tumors during illness. Deformity and disease are becoming her or aesthetically beautiful way to confront them. Phone investigating them bravely and without hesitation, W, chat, they wear new shape and texture, and are loaded with new meaning.
Zoo World is at the center of her work. Phone investigating the image in art history, sacrifice animals, hunting, slaughtering and food. Even hair becomes a central image in her work. For her hair is surface (fur), a symbol of growth, but at the same time dropping and death – in recognition and awareness of the life cycle in which life and death endlessly moving in a circular motion.
