Agnieszka Sosnowska compares her photographic work to telling stories without answering questions. Her photographs are self-referential narratives that crave interpretation by offering glimpses of her life: images of herself and of her physical and social surroundings, which serve as expressive visual diaries and extended self-portraits. These are set against the backdrop of Icelandic nature while her personal symbolism alludes to the country’s sagas and folk stories.
