Adi Salmon Honors, Department of Photography at the Academy of Art and Design and Beitar Jerusalem accompanied by the photographer three years.
The exhibition, which is actually an entire art installation, view photos chosen witnesses who journalistic Shigrtim sports shots. The players are all on separate poster size they almost and occupy most of the space in the picture. The audience is bold, often is blurred and there is only the background, and sometimes stands empty at all.
Players are presented as figures in movement, a ball, and if there were no uniform characteristics foot ball players could also be seen as jugglers, dancers or singers on stage performances. And indeed has in common H”fustrit admirable “that get players like rock singers. Although the figures are large format are reminiscent of the cards or gum wrappers of footballers, baseball players, or other celebrities that appear on cards or gum wrappers, used to collect fans.
The installation spanned the gallery walls draws the visitor to view and makes it part of the story takes place in the display. The exhibition is not only the photographs of players in action, it takes the characters out of their usual context and raises questions much broader contexts.
The exhibition is held in conjunction with the sports club Beitar Jerusalem.
