With the invention of optics, able to magnify the power of the human eye, our vision expanded to the realms of the very small and the very distant, using the telescope. Now with current technology we can not only see farther and better than any generation before us, we can actually send people & probes with cameras to the outer reaches of our solar system. This exhibition explores the Cosmos, from the Earth to the Moon and beyond, as seen in celestial photographs from 1900 to the present, from both a scientific and artistic perspective.
