Two solo exhibitions at HaMiffal gallery: Ebb&Flow / The Grey extension
The two solo exhibitions were created as part of HaMiffa’s residency scheme, which supports the development of new art project:
In “Ebb and Flow” Max Epstein created a new installation that includes dozens of wooden sculptures he carved in the form of immigrants and war refugees. These sculptures are made of driftwood that Epstein gathers along the shores of Israel.
The grey extension; is a floor work created by Martin Visok and designed especially for HaMiffal’s space dimensions. Concrete bricks, metal panels and sculptures of unburnt clay create a space resembling a fictional temple.
The Jerusalem Foundation, and the Jerusalem Municipality support the exhibitions and residency scheme.
