Peleg Dishon
In his new exhibition in Bezalel7 Gallery in Jerusalem, Omer Even-Paz is showing a new installation of fantastic, grotesque and delicate animal sculptures made of Painted Aluminium foil. The sculptural images are inspired by biblical, Talmudic and other visions and fables to create a dramatic scene which the viewers see from ‘behind the scenes’. ‘Through a crack in the fence’ we enter the orchard – the stage of this reality of frozen fables the animals are half way between dying and gaining life. A storm is about to happen or had just abated.
