The exhibition brings together two artists who choose to work with “low” materials. The exhibition’s title Metruz, which means to weave or intertwine, is a reference to the paper weaving technique employed by both artists: Shapira Hasson weaves paper into mourning and victory wreaths, while Tamar Nissim entwines photographic images and portraits from her past in a criss-cross weave.
