“Parallèles” by artist Jacques Fhima traces parallel narratives whose plots are woven by the imaginative passion of a young man wandering through the urban landscapes of his hometown, Paris. The journey begins at the Librairie Parallèles bookstore, evolving into an investigative treasure hunt through the city’s mausoleums, passages, and flea markets. Along the way, Fhima is swept up in adventures that would ultimately shape his identity as a son of immigrants in 1970s Paris.
