Three series of paintings, inspired by the text of the artists’ graphic novel “Please Act Natural.” Each series focuses on the events at a different public setting in Tel Aviv: Old Jaffa, HaBima Square, and a large traffic island on the corner of Kibbutz Galuyot, Shlavim, and Abarbanel. With colorful and elaborate style, the two explore the underbelly of Israeli society and present a strange world comprised of familiar local views that underwent a slight and unsettling shift.
