Every afternoon throughout Manofim Festival we will open our hearts and minds in a special family activities area: art workshops, music and theater shows, a collective mural created by various communities and more. The complex also operates an open and inviting space for free work, lounging areas and a nonstop tea party! Under the Bridge we will meet friendly and colorful creatures who will help us to face our fears, form new friendships, and get to know one another through art, stories, and the imagination. On Saturday, the last day of the festival, we will put up an exhibit displaying all the artworks that the children created in the workshops!

Art Workshops
Under the Bridge workshops are a series of sessions that sow the seeds for a long-term bilingual activity. The workshops center on simple crafts, offering the participants, as well as the viewers, an unmediated encounter with the material and with the people around them. Together we will create a collaborative artwork through which we will look at the winding path of the knitted thread, the doubled reflection, the repetitive circle of the mandala lines, or the intersections of the Tree of Heaven branches. These simple products hold stories and an experience of meeting, talking, and being together, and a hope for a common future.
The art workshops are suitable for children aged 5-10 and their parents and are led in Hebrew and Arabic.
