Artist:
Ronit Agassi
Curator:
Yona Fischer, Timna Seligman
Using manipulated objects and wood panels, which were painted, scratched, burnt, and used as the surface for collages and reliefs, Ronit Agassi builds an environment that is simultaneously imbued with nostalgia and fear of the future. Themes of transition, immigration, and refugees are interwoven throughout the exhibition that takes its name from a play by Eugène Ionesco.
