The gallery as an intersection between a biographical axis and a geographical one. Monica Lavi faces ghosts from her childhood via the photos of Juan Federovsky, her father. These document pivotal events her immigrant family from Argentina witnessed, as well as a reflective gaze on the school “Sokolov Katan” in which Lavi studied in the 1st grade alongside children from neglected neighborhoods of the city such as Musrara and Shmuel Hanavi. The need to revisit the axis at the heart of the exhibition led to a cooperation with artists dealing currently with Musrara.
