Silk and Crimson: From analog to digital to AI
The Yossi Nahmias Photography Gallery, Dep. Of Photographic Communication, Hadassah Academic College
Artists: Yoram Bouzaglo
Curator: Judith Guetta
As part of the “Manofim” festival, the Yossi Nahmias Photography Gallery in the Department of Photographic Communication, will be hosting the great photographer Yoram Bouzaglo in his new exhibition “Silk and Crimson.”
The exhibition examines and corresponds with the subject of the portrait in light of the changing technologies throughout the history of photography: from analog, to digital, to AI.
The exhibition presents new works from the series: “Woman with a head covering.” The woman created, is based on Bouzaglo’s classic photography and corresponds with artificial intelligence to create a new woman – simulated. A woman who evokes memories and associations from different times. A woman who bows her head in unique grace.
