The current exhibition, in which guest artists also participate alongside the Agripas 12 artists, tries to trace the working processes of the artists, more than the finished products.
In the center of the exhibition are artists’ books – in some the paper itself is handmade. The various texts and images – drawing, painting, photography, collage – constitute a multi-layered product, which allows us a glimpse into the inner world of the artist, and a more intimate acquaintance with her or his daily work, with her or his personal “handwriting”.
Alongside the artists’ books, other works on paper are displayed, which can be seen as outlines or works in progress, as they are a kind of sketch, revealing the artists’ work processes more than the finished product.

About the gallery
Set up in 2004, the Agripas 12 Cooperative Gallery in Jerusalem functions independently on the basis of cooperation between its members. The fifteen gallery members work in the various visual arts and have maintained the gallery voluntarily over the past eight years, financing it without the help of public bodies and with no profit motive. The gallery is situated in the heart of Jerusalem and holds monthly exhibitions. Since its foundation it has featured more than eighty solo and group exhibitions. Gallery talks are held regularly at Agripas 12, with the participation of artists, lecturers, and curators. The gallery has been acknowledged as an important cultural venue in Israel, especially in Jerusalem.
