Togetherness
Ariel Schlesinger (b. Jerusalem, 1980) uses a range of media to explore the poetry and possibility in everyday things. Trained as an artist, his practice resembles that of an inventor, and explores how destruction and abandonment can be turned into construction and creation. Surprising and witty, in Schlesinger’s work the mundane and utilitarian can become miraculous and beautiful.
