NOT LETTING IT IN

Jason Danino Holt invites the public to practice the art of human communication through autobiographical confession. Ten years ago, the confessions show ‘Not Letting It In’ premiered – an event that formulated a unique language of communication, exclusively through confessions – and has since been performed dozens of times in Israel and around the world. It is a performative event where it is only allowed to speak in confessions: no responses, no questions, no conversations, and no verbal judgment. 

The version that will be presented at the festival is the intimate version, in which there are no actors – only the audience. The tools developed in the original performance are used here to create a sequence of personal confessions. Together, we will build a one-time dramatic arc, exposed and sincere.
