We are living through a time in which it’s very easy to lose our grip and focus. Reality changes nonstop, the swings of time are sharp and extreme, and amid the dizziness of emotions, the fragility of routine, and the feeling that we are pawns in a game much bigger than us, we chose this year to focus on

awareness

For five days in July, the streets of Jerusalem, the galleries, rooftops, studio spaces, theater halls, and public spaces will turn into a living lab of heightened consciousness. The artists participating in the festival will explore what we choose to see and what we tend to overlook; who gets recognized and who stays out of sight. 

The festival invites the audience to meet up close with personal and public fractures, communities and voices that have been pushed to the margins, and to reopen the possibility for connection, closeness, and change.
