“The Garden – A Space for Shared Life” is a unique project displayed in the expansive garden surrounding Ticho House, featuring site-specific works created by students from various departments at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. The works, created in diverse media, emerged from different identity perspectives and from a multidisciplinary dialogue with the local context – historical, cultural, and social – of Ticho House and the surrounding garden.
The garden, where daily meetings take place between different communities in the city, served as a source of inspiration for the works, alongside the narrative layers of the house and the architectural and human layers embedded within it.
The project is a result of collaboration between Ticho House and Bezalel, initiated by the Space for Diversity, Excellence, and Shared Life, in partnership with the Department of Ceramics and Glass Design.
