Ura Kvodi — Jazz & Vizuals
Thursday | 16.07 | 20:00 | Shaham Culture Lab
Space and state of being, without any notes. Jazz that emerges from listening and from the pulse created between four attentive musicians. Wandering through the expanses of India and the Middle East, gently dismantling traditional symmetries of ceremonial music and the groove of modern presence. Free to move, stay quiet, repeat. Built from open dialogue, moving between tension and calm, huddling together and softening.
The show Ura Kvodi is based on the collaboration between the musicians Oz Yehiely (bass), Omri Porat (guitar), Mark Moshayev (drums), and Lihu Baniel (flutes and ney), who work from a shared language of attentiveness and real-time creation. It was created as part of a special collaboration between the Manofim Festival and Jazz & Visuals: a Jerusalem series that connects live music, visual art, and alternative spaces for a multi-sensory and intimate experience.
Performance duration: 2-3 hours
