The Manofim Festival and Hansen House collaborate in an evening entirely dedicated to the dialogue between body, machine, and live music – in three spaces, with three artistic languages.
Tour of the exhibitions at the Hansen House, the building and its surroundings
19:30-17:30Jerusalem Theater - Hansen HouseThe tour will begin at the Jerusalem Theater plaza, at the statue by Yechiel Shemi. From there we will continue to the Hansen House – a center for design, media, and technology – where we will visit at the exhibition “HUGS” by Ruti Sela. Afterwards, we will proceed to the textile exhibition by Batia Kolton and Roni Fahima, Khavroshechka in Jerusalem.’ We will conclude the tour with the audio-visual work of Maya Dunietz, NISSANU, at the Tea House.

19:30In a new work that emerged from an action she performed 25 years ago during which she hugged strangers on the streets of Jerusalem, Sela examines whether a hug can still embody human closeness, or if it too has worn thin within a polarized reality. (Curator: Lea Mauas – Sala-Manca)
