We’ll start the tour at Hazira Performance Arts Arena, showcasing Zik Galaxy – the project celebrating 40 years of artistic work by Zik Group. From there, we’ll head to the Art Cube Artists’ Studios and visit a festive event of open studios, inviting you to go behind the scenes of art: meet the artists, peek into their intimate workspaces, and discover how artworks are made. We’ll wrap up with a visit to the group exhibition Drift, which explores creative processes and the central role that not-knowing has in artistic practice, as well as the solo exhibition by Yael Serlin, Four Cubits, where the artist presents an intimate and exposed artistic journey dealing with the profound grief that hit her family after the death of her son, Yosef Haim Tzvi Serlin, during his military service.

Art, Design and Sports – Manofim Festival is hosted by the Jerusalem Design Week

19:30-17:30Hansen House
The entrance gate to the Hansen House garden from Gdalyahu Alon st. 14

We will begin the tour at the entrance to Hansen House. We will hear the fascinating story of this historic building and then continue to the ‘Victory Arch’ Jerusalem Design Week. We will wander through the many exhibitions that focus on the intersection of sports and design, exploring how ideas of winning, losing, competition, and belonging are translated into a contemporary creative language. At the *Mamuta Art & Research Center*, we’ll see Daniella Meroz’s sculptural video installation ‘Hole in the Heart,’ which transforms the center’s space into a grotesque play gym, where playfulness and ritual are exaggerated and disrupted, and we’ll join a gallery talk with the artist and the curator. Next, we’ll dive into exhibitions I Came to Encourage, The Hall of Fame, The Heat, Sparta, Control Room, and more. Through the dozens of works being presented for the first time, the Jerusalem Design Week offers a fresh reading of sports culture—not just as a stage for achievement but as a social, political, and emotional space.
