Ticho House Museum is opening its gates

In a series of diverse events, the Ticho House celebrates the importance of the Israel Museum’s connections with Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem. The event begins with the launch of the exhibition catalog for Ayelet Carmi, Meirav Heimann’s ‘Bliss,’ which is a product of collaboration between the Master’s program in Policy and Theory of the Arts at Bezalel, Culture in Jerusalem Without Borders (JCU), and Ticho House. The launch will also feature a gallery talk with the artists, with the curator of the exhibition Timna Seligman and with Dafna Satran, a recipient of the New Voices from Jerusalem: Art Writing Fellowship grant from Bezalel and JCU, who wrote an article for the exhibition catalog. Throughout the evening and during the whole Manofim Festival, the audience is invited to an exhibition in the garden of Ticho House by students from Bezalel who participated in ‘The Garden – A Space for Shared Life‘ course led by artist and Bezalel lecturer Hilla Ben Ari. We will conclude the evening with a Manofim music segment, ‘Triptych at the Edges of the World‘ – site-specific performances throughout the house by Idit Mintzer and friends: Yehezkel Raz, Yossi Fine, Stav Achai, Sharon Mansur, Uriah Witztum, and Shay Hazan.

18:30 – Gathering and opening of the exhibition “The Garden – A Space for Shared Life״

19:30 – Triptych of Performances at the Edges of the World: A unique musical evening: three performances, three emotional spaces, one unforgettable work.
